The Elegance of Arcadia

    This sophisticated kitchen,  a fresh, open design features cool, elegant Arcadia cabinetry in a subtle Eggshell finish.  The space is highlighted by a spacious island which provides breakfast bar seating at one end and a cooking center at the other.  One wall features tall glass-doored wall cabinets with added drawers that were set directly atop base cabinets to achieve the look of a custom breakfront, complete with dramatic interior lighting to showcase collectibles.  
    At each side of the breakfront, the designer installed tall cabinets for balance, including a utility cabinet with a built-in double ovens, accented with fluting on its clipped corners.  
    The refrigerator and dishwasher, fitted with matching custom panels, blend seamlessly into the run of cabinetry, and the elegant moulding that crowns the cabinetry continues around the entire room for a perfectly finished look.  On the foyer side of the island, an open cabinet with an arched valance provides visual interest as well as storage.  
    To the left, a low cabinet housing the microwave oven is topped with a bookcase featuring clipped fluted corners and an arched valance.
